and my teachers for their help during this the Leap program.

Today we had a nice day at school; we celebrate the teacher's day. It was a small celebration but we could tell our teachers how much they have done for us. In my city, there is a national teachers' day and we celebrate it. Usually there is no class this day. Despite the fact that there is no teachers' day in Canada we wanted to thank our teachers and made them fell important for us.
There is only 3 weeks more and we are done with the leap program, I will be very sand when it finish because I enjoy a lot being there. I had leaned a lot and I think that I still need to learn more, buy may be this part is just practice. Next week we will have a lot of text and also the other week. I need to study a lot during this week because I will go to Vancouver to visit my husband that is working there for 3 weeks. He may be transfer to this city so I need to see if I like or not, because I am the boss in my house and if I don't like we will stay here. Calgary is a nice city, I like the weather, it is strange but I do. Vancouver is very humidity and it rains a lot there, I heated the rain. If Vancouver were hot but with rained I wouldn't mine, but is cool and it rains, so Horrible!!!!
I don’t' know but i will tell you more about it when I came from Vancouver. I am also very happy because I will start a program named Environmental management at the university and I will start to learn more about my career. I hope after that to find a good job as engineer. I like a lot the nature and to work for the environment, I in Canada this is possible.

So, I will tell you more when I come from Vancouver.

Today we are starting a new theme in our Leap program. I think this theme is going to be interesting because we can talk about our personal experiences. Today I talked bout my riskest experience in my life. I flow a paraseil when I was 15. This is a very reasky activity because many people dies doind that sport. My friend name is gregorio and he likeded a lot this kinds of stuff when he was 18. He started to recived paraseil lessons and he flow he own paraseil. I udes to tell him that I wanted to try once, so in my 15 birthday he invited me for a ride without telling me what we will do. So we went to a very high mountain when people jumped form parapent and paraseil and I knew that he wanted me to try. So I became very nervous but I decided to to that. So on the top of the mountain was the national champion of paraseil waiting for me. He didn' have to much time so he expalied me what to do but I was so scared that I didn't copied anything. So follow his instructions and I put some cords arround my legs and started to run with him. We tooked the paraseil with our hands from the big metal thing it has to control it. When we jumped the paraseil started to go down down and I touhgt that I was going to die,,,but NO. I am here. The experience was really extiting and I wanted to do it again, may be I will change a little bit and i will jum from a parachute here in canada in the summer. I know that here trhere are people who practice that kind of risky sports.

When you are flying you fell that nothing matter, you just want to fell the air and see everything from avobe. Everything seem to be very small and the time pass very fast. I was only 30 minuts flying in the paraseil but for me was like I was there only for 5 minuts. It is also very dangerous when you arrive to the land again, because the paraseil has just 2 smail tires and sometimes the surface is not very flat and you can be hurt. I didn' like this parte but If I had the chance I would fly again.

Hi everyone, I know that is too late but I just received the new that I have to work all this weekend. This is too bad because I think we will have too much homework and I will be tired on monday. I will try to talk to my manager to tell her that it is very difficult for me to work all the weekend, and that I will only work fridays and saturdays. Tomorrow I have writing test, I think that we have the option to write about alternative and complementary medicine and it will be easy because we had already done one essay about it. However, you never know and scott can give us a surprise and he can ask us to write something about herbs or something like that. I think that it is more difficult because we have not done any essay about this theme.

I think I have studied enough and I will do ok, I love writing and I am improving a lot my mistakes. This is good because before I thought that I would never be able to correct my grammar mistakes, but now I see that I can do it. I have already found my common mistakes and also I know that Luda my friend can help me with that. it is very nice to work with her because I can help her with her mistakes and she can help me with mines. For me her mistakes are obvious, and for her my mistakes are very easy to correct. So that means we are a good team.

I am tired now and I will go to sleep, Tomorrow is a busy day and I need to sleep well.

Working and studing:

I started working last firday, but I can tell you that las weekeend was a busy weekend for me. I have never worked in a store before and also I have never been stand fup up for 8 hours. My back and my legs were painful after working, however everybody tells me that I am going to be used to in a few days.

So I went to work on firday form 5 to 8, saturday form 9-5: 30 and sunday form 1:30 to 6: 30. I also had to study and read my leap book, so I could not sleep too much this weekend. The problem was on monday because I was very tired and I could not concentrate in my clases. But I think that I will do better after some time.

Now we are studing an interesting theme about medicine. I really like this theme and I think that all of my clasmates like it too. The readings are not too dificult and are really interesting. I am not a doctor and I dont want either to be a doctor , but this articles help us to improve our general knowledges. Now we are preparing ourselves for the writing test about medicine and I think that we have made a good job, for that reason, I hope our marks to be higher this time.

The weater is not very nice now, it is too cool and I feel cool inside the university, but I am waiting the sring with all its color and beautiful flowers. I used to live in warm conutries before arriving in cananda. I leaved in Haiti for 3 years where the temperature is between 28-40 C. It is actually too hot, but the sea was really really nice. live by the sea and I love to watch it. I never felt tired of the sea. I also like to swim after working and take the sun on weekends. I really miss that, however I like the snow and skiing.

Hi everybody today is a beautiful sunny day but is not my best day. However, I am here writing and trying to do my homeworks. Las week it was a busy week and we studied a lot. We were studing geography but a human geography, i really did not loke very much but I learn a lot. Now we are staritng a new theme about medicine that sound good. I know a little bit about it, because when I arrived to canada I studied in other English school and we saw a litle bit about alternative medicine, I even had to do a presentation about homeophatic and I really enjoy that.

Today I will study a little bit, I will read the book and do oters assignments. Maybe I will go to cinema this night if my husband feels better. Next week will be very busy and also I am going to start working next Friday. I am going to start working at the Chinook mall in La Senza girl. I hope this work help me with my conversation skill because now I don't fell very good at speaking. We have the opportunity to speak during the week in the class with our classmates and teachers but this is not enough if I want to start working soon in my profession, also because in this work I will have the chance to talk all the time with Canadians and learn how they usually express themselves. I think I will enjoy it very much.

Last firday it was very difficult for me to do the exams because I had at that time a terrible headache, I thought that I had gotten the flu from my teacher, but until now nothing has happened and I am ok. The headache was gone when I went for a walk firday after arriving form the university and I went for a walk to Bowness Park, this is a beautiful park when people can skate in a ice road and walk along the river. I went with my dog and it really enjoys the trip. Today it is a little bored because I haven’t had enough time to go to the park with it; I will try to go in the afternoon. Ok, so I will tell you haw things are going during this week with our new theme about alternative medicine.

Hey everybody!!!! today has been a busy day, but I don't have too much homework. In our classes we had too much things to do and also to think. I am not very happy because my reading test was not very good, and It was all my fault. I did not reed very well the questions and I have a low mark. However, in my writing test it was Ok, I would like to have a higher mark but the one I have was not too bad. I hope that this new theme is going to be nicer than the last one (business) I really don’t like much business but geography yes.

Today I am very happy as well, because I get a job, I mean I think that I get it, because one Canadian friend told me that her manager wants to see me for an interview. This job is a common one, but I know that my speaking is going to improve working there. It is in the Chinook mall, in a store name La senza. I don't know what am I going to do yet, but may be customer service. My goal with this job is talking all the time and having a complete immersion in Canadian language.

For now, I know that I'm learning a lot about reading, listening and writing buy my pronunciation and my speaking need more training. So I will go there. this job is only for weekend, so I will have time to study during the week.

I am also happy, because I am attending to hydro aerobic classes at the university and I am playing squash with Luda my classmate, we rally enjoy doing this sport.

Ok, now I will read my book for this week and practice some pronunciation for my cc class.
